We are currently seeking a Marketing Manager.

This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Stuart, FL. The Marketing Manager will oversee all social media channels, spending the bulk of their time generating YouTube content. Key responsibilities include scripting, filming, and editing simple YouTube videos. Additionally, the Marketing Manager needs to help ideate videos that will perform well and be consistent with the branding of the company. Contractors and teammates can be utilized to assist in repetitive duties such as video editing. Other responsibilities include website editing and organizing events.

Mobile Solar Consulting is willing to train where there are gaps in knowledge or experience. While the role has a focus on content creation, the content is often technical in nature, so genuine interest in learning about solar energy systems is more important than experience. Training is available for both solar/electrical and also filming/editing.

The expectation is that, once trained, the role's duties will be performed on-site around 50% of the time, while editing and scripting can be done at home if preferred.

Pay scale will vary greatly based on experience. Hiring timeline is flexible. Occasional travel may be required.

Given that Mobile Solar Consulting is a small business with only 5 team members, the Marketing Manager may need to assist with things outside their normal scope, such as:

• Order Packaging and Shipping

• Inventory Re-ordering

• Billing & Bookkeeping

• Cleaning

• Responding to Basic Customer Inquiries

Qualifications

• Some experience with video creation/editing (Adobe Preferred) required

• Basic understanding of avoiding copyright infringement required

• Familiarity with YouTube and other social media channels required

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Ability work independently and self-teach

• Interest in learning about solar equipment

• Prior experience in hands-on work with solar equipment, or with general handy-work, is a plus
